Admissions, Applications and Requirements
Apply for Grade R, Grade 1 and Grade 8 in the year before your child starts school. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education announces the application period each year. Usually you will need:
- The learner’s birth certificate or ID
- The parent or guardian’s ID
- Proof of address
- The learner’s immunisation card (Grade R and Grade 1)
- The latest school report (Grade 8 and learners changing schools)

Fees, Dates and Learner Information
